Villas avec Jardin à Nice

"A fabulous Villa in Nice, perfect for a larger group wanting to explore the area but also happy to relax poolside and soak in the view. Facilities were exceptional - chefs kitchen allowed us to make meals from the fresh ingredients purchased at the market. 4 bathrooms, two lounge areas, beautiful pool that was the perfect temperature and plenty of space to relax and enjoy the view. If you don’t want to leave, you honestly don’t have to. You have everything you need! Large supermarket 5 minute walk away (very steep back up hill), was very convenient. Matteo was incredibly helpful and on hand with any questions."

"Location was updated on booking.com listing after booking was already made - the map was incorrect which caused confusion about the villa’s exact location. 45 minute downhill walk into Nice Old Town (would be a tough walk back) or 15 minute drive. Driveway is incredibly steep so be mindful of this. Best to have a car to access the property or Ubers were very easy. Matteo was quick to fix a few problems we had - gate keys stopped working and we didn’t have hot water for a few days. When alerted, he was quick to action though. Although great facilities, a few extra touches would make the price more reasonable: wifi password listed in the house somewhere (we had to ask), pool/beach towels and basic or starter amenities in bathrooms such as body wash."

"Property was lovely, well maintained, in a good location and in a good condition. The property has good facilities and the pool is clean and there are plenty of places to sit outside and by the pool. The kitchen is well equipped. It was clear that this is a new rental, and some thought needs to be given as to some of the points below."

"There were a few problems. 1. There were two cats that live by the property and despite what we were told by the agents when we arrived, the cats are clearly used to coming into the property. The first afternoon of our holiday a neighbour came into the garden to feed the cats - without us knowing about it, and he told us that he was going to do that twice a day. We complained, and the owner eventually came to take the cats away, as we did not want somebody wandering about. 2. The house had no basic food items at all. It would have been nice if we did not need to go out and buy all basics, such as salt, olive oil, pasta etc. Most rentals have at least some basic items, and you generally replace what you use. 3. There was no guide how to use things in the house. There were a number of things that we discovered during our stay (such as where the washing machine was - which was in a locked room - which opened with the main front door key - discovered by chance), and a little booklet with practical information would be very sensible."
